Dannemann Siemsen ESG Report 2022
By Ivan Bacellar Ahlert (Senior Partner) and Peter Eduardo Siemsen (Partner, Head of ESG)
This is Dannemann Siemsen's first report on its activities in the environmental, social and corporate Governance contexts, covering actions carried out by our firm, some of which culminated in 2022 with obtaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification. This certification evidences the attention given to the most important environmental issues in our business.
We present the Dannemann Siemsen ESG Report 2022 to all our internal and external customers , starting with our members of staff. They were committed and tireless partners to obtain the best results last year. This report improves the quality of information made available to our stakeholders, partners, clients, employees and society in general.
The Report presents our ESG practice, and clearly and transparently reports the way in which we act and generate value for society, whether in our internal environment or in the multiple interactions and interfaces that our firm has with the external environment. All its content has been validated by the Executive Management and approved by the Board of Directors.
It is with great pride that we publish our first ESG report. It is the consolidation of a transformative endeavour, and it has been very gratifying to observe how much we have learned over time. Knowing the impact that we are having on our ecosystem and the lives we are helping to transform, in addition to verifying the benefits to the environment and the strengthening of our compliance rules, are concrete ways to value good practices and reveal the way we act. It is part of our day-to-day practice to help reduce the historical diferences that exist in the country and strengthen an inclusive environment.
Although social, environmental and ethical cultures have always been part of Dannemann Siemsen's life, the structuring of the ESG project has brought great advances in our work. The creation of the ESG Committee and the diversity, environmental and compliance committees has enabled important projects to be implemented, such as affirmative vacancies, the creation of Affinity groups and the programme to obtain ISO 14001 environmental certification.
As a high point, we highlight the diversity of the team that took part in the ESG project. They are members of staff from all areas and hierarchical levels who have demonstrated very high motivation. Accordingly, the organisation structured in the ESG area has been a great success and new goals have been set for 2023, which we are already working to achieve.
We hope you all enjoy reading the report!
