Costa Rican Rum Producer Obtains Trademark for Centenario Ron Tonic

A Costa Rican rum producer has secured the trademark for the name Centenario Ron Tonic in the United States to have the exclusive right to use the trademark Centenario Ron Tonic for its products and services.
The trademark was granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in October 2023. The application has also been filed for trademark protection in the European Union, Canada, and Mexico.
The trademark covers a wide range of products and services, including rum, cocktails, clothing, and merchandise. Ron Centenario, the trademark owner, plans to use the trademark to launch a new line of ron tonic-inspired products, including ready-to-drink cocktails and merchandise.
