Carolina Vera's Conference on Investment in Colombia

At the annual congress of the global network of lawyers, PRAGMA, held in London from October 20 to 23, 2024, Carolina Vera, partner of Vera Abogados, delivered a conference focused on the opportunities and challenges of investing in Colombia.
During her presentation, she highlighted recent legislative advancements that position Colombia as an increasingly attractive market for foreign investors, particularly in sectors such as infrastructure, technology, and renewable energy.
She also outlined regulations designed to provide greater legal security and protection for foreign capital, making it easier for new investments to enter the country and encouraging the expansion of global businesses within Colombia.
Her presentation was well-received by PRAGMA members, who expressed great interest in Colombia’s growing potential as an investment destination.
