Exemption of Patent Registration Fees for Entrepreneurs

In an effort to foster entrepreneurship, stimulate originality, and promote business growth, Venezuela has approved a measure to waive registration fees for patents filed with the Autonomous Service of Intellectual Property (SAPI).
This policy will be beneficial for entrepreneurs who are part of the Emprender Juntos platform, which currently boasts 712,000 registered members. Over 5,300 of those entrepreneurs have already received assistance at SAPI. This assistance includes training sessions on planning and administrative procedures associated with acquiring and safeguarding trademarks.
Emprender Juntos offers a variety of services, including:
-Training and education.
-Access to financing.
-Networking and collaboration.
To be eligible for the Emprender Juntos program, entrepreneurs must be Venezuelan citizens or legal residents with a business that is at least six months old and a business plan
