On May 17, 2024, Harinera del Valle and Gases de Occidente marked a significant milestone in their commitment to sustainability with the inauguration of the first solar farm at Harinera del Valle's Villa Rica plant in Cauca, Colombia. The solar farm, constructed by GdO and financed by Promigas, will enable Harinera del Valle to generate up to 30% of the clean energy required for its Villa Rica plant. This facility is responsible for producing the beloved La Muñeca, Conzazoni, Pugliese, and San Remo pasta brands, staples in Colombian households for generations.
