Juan Villazon joins Haug Partners International Trademark Team
Haug Partners welcomes its new foreign trademark legal counsel, who will help strengthen its growing Latin American Practice.

Haug Partners, LLP recently welcomed Juan Villazon to its international trademark team as foreign trademark legal counsel. Mr. Villazon is a Mexican-trained attorney who has worked in both private practice and in-house for a number of large companies and has particular expertise in management and strategy relating to intellectual property rights in Latin America. Mr. Villazon will assist the trademark practice as a central team member involved with the firm’s growing Latin American Practice.
The Haug Partners Trademark Team provides specialized services, advice and strategy tailored to the firm’s U.S. and European clients with significant interests in the region.
Mr. Villazon graduated from Universidad Anahuac Mexico Norte, and recently obtained his Master of Law (LLM) degree from Cardozo School of Law in New York, focusing his studies on intellectual property. Prior to his studies in the United States, Mr. Villazon previously worked for intellectual property firms in Mexico and as in-house legal counsel at multinational companies, such as Danone and Reckitt Benckiser.
