迪士尼在1亿美元《莫阿娜》版权诉讼中洗清抄袭之名

洛杉矶联邦陪审团一致驳回了动画师巴克·伍德尔（Buck Woodall）对迪士尼动画电影《莫阿娜》提起的版权侵权诉讼。
伍德尔声称，他在21世纪初创作了一部名为《冲浪男孩巴基》（Bucky the Surfer Boy）的剧本，讲述了一个穿越时空来到古波利尼西亚的少年冲浪者的故事，并将其分享给了与迪士尼有关联的曼德维尔影业（Mandeville Films）的高管珍妮·马奇克（Jenny Marchick）。
他声称迪士尼使用了他的素材——剧本、故事板和角色设计——作为《莫阿娜》的创作基础，最初索赔约1亿美元，后来又就《莫阿娜2》提起了另一项100亿美元的诉讼。
陪审团审判于2月底开始；3月10日，经过大约两个半小时的审议，陪审团得出结论，迪士尼的创作者从未接触过伍德尔的素材。由于接触无法被证明，评审团没有评估两部作品之间的相似性。
