3M announces opening of a Center for Innovation and Development for Industry

In order to expand operations in Peru and encourage research in technology, the company will invest U$ 4 million in the facilities of 2,500 m2, between laboratories and research centers themselves.

Meanwhile, premier René Cornejo noted the 6.1% average growth of the Peruvian economy and the investment of S /. 200 million Concytec innovation initiatives.
"Last year, there was a record 27.3 % investment of GDP, U$ 56,000 million in mostly private investment. That sounds good, but poses new challenges : go for the two pillars of growth, investment and productivity gains. To do this, we must invest in people to continue on the path of economic growth", explained Cornejo.
