A space for the national improvement of entrepreneurship and innovation
The Ministry of Economy of Guatemala sponsored a fourth date of Emprendefest, an event created in 2018 to develop through the public sector the entrepreneurial spirit and business skills of Guatemalans.

"Through these events we have tried to link entrepreneurs with financing, accelerators and technicians to generate and have access to new business opportunities," said Economy Minister Acisclo Valladares.

Emprendefest, which had three previous dates in August and September, strengthens the interconnection of the business ecosystem through workshops, keynote speakers, speed mentoring and exhibitions.

"The event helps to improve the capabilities of entrepreneurs and therefore introduce new ideas, jobs and companies that generate opportunities for Guatemalans”, added Valladares.
