Access channel to the port of Montevideo will be deepened
Uruguay minister of Transport, Víctor Rossi, stressed at a press conference that the future reform will allow Montevideo to receive the world’s largest cargo ships that exist in the world.
The deepening is foreseen in the Master Plan 2018-2035 coordinated by the National Ports Administration of Uruguay with contributions from the private sector. Although still under design, the plan will establish the strategic lines of port activity for the coming years.
