Airbnb and El Salvador collaborate to promote tourism

Airbnb and the Ministry of Tourism of El Salvador agreed on a mutual collaboration to promote El Salvador as a world-class tourist destination, highlighting its history, culture and other offers that national and international visitors can enjoy.According to Airbnb's internal data on the growth of tourism in El Salvador, in the first quarter of 2022, domestic traveler reservations made through the platform grew more than 280% compared to the same period in 2019. International traveler reservations made through Airbnb grew by around 290%.
The community of shared space hosts in El Salvador is a growing component of its tourism and an important asset to the wealth of the country.
