Andrés Wyld named new partner of Mayora IP
By Mayora IP

Wyld has a vast experience in both the public and private sectors, and as a professional practice lawyer. He was negotiator in the Permanent Mission of Guatemala to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva. Also, as an in-house lawyer for ten years, he has specialized in the area of franchising and Intellectual Property management in multiple jurisdictions, being in charge of the legal issues of foreign franchises in Central America (on the side of the franchisee) and working for one of the most famous brands in Central America during its expansion in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Currently he is part of the board of directors of the Guatemalan Chamber of Intellectual Property, training more people "to love Intellectual Property and recognize its great benefits, as well as improving aspects that can still improve". In the past he was one of the first active members of INTA in the region, actively participating in its Latin America Global Advisory Council.
"This new responsibility means applying all the knowledge and experience accumulated in various aspects of my career, in a new personal way", Wyld said of his new challenge in Mayora IP, the leading Guatemalan firm in Intellectual Property protection. "I have the goal of consolidating the existing relationships of the firm and expand them to new horizons, creating value for all our customers", he added.
