By Mayora IP

The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) Regional Group of Central America and Caribbean has its Annual Congress planned on 31 May, 2024, in Hotel San Cayetano, Antigua, Guatemala.

It will have an incredible lineup of international speakers covering topics such as traditional knowledge, AI, and intangible assets.

On March 1, 2024, the AIPPI Regional Group signed a Mutual Collaboration Agreement with the Guatemalan Chamber of Intellectual Property (CAMPI). According to its president, Santiago Mayora, the goal of the agreement is cooperation between the parties for the exchange of information and initiatives on the training of human resources, promotion, organization, and carrying out of academic and cultural activities offered jointly to members, with an emphasis on the jurisdiction of Guatemala.
