Argentina has the best Country Brand of Latin America

"Argentina driven by change", praises the report. "This southern country gets the lead in the ranking. The change of political leadership probably had a favorable impact from which it has taken advantage. Now is up to the Government to maintain this constant climate", states the study in reference to Mauricio Macri, who was elected president of Argentina in 2015 for the 2015-2019 period, and who aims to improve conditions for business with a rapprochement with the United States and Europe, and the cease of an international alignment with Venezuela and Iran.
Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Peru complete the top five ranked Country Brands of the region, based on quantitative information provided by opinion leaders and frequent travelers for business or pleasure outside Latin America.
Since 2005, the Country Brand Report Latin America analyzes the strength of the region's country brands over 20 nations, studying the perception and associations that countries generate in the same way that the perception of consumer brands and corporate brands. The ranking is developed by FutureBrand, a global brand and innovation consultancy with 24 offices around the world.
