Argentina update regarding the Covid-19 situation

On September 20, 2020, Argentina’s Executive Power extended until October 11, 2020, the mandatory and preventive social isolation aimed at slowing the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.In accordance with the Government decision, the National Institute of Intellectual Property (INPI) issued Resolution 142/2020 extending the suspension of all legal terms in progress from September 21, 2020, until October 11, 2020. INPI has established a care customer service with minimum guards and a shift system. After obtaining an appointment via email, the user must respect the assigned shift schedule and comply with social distancing and sanitary regulations. The Office also has available all its electronic platforms for several processes.
Finally, by Decree755/2020, the suspension of all administrative terms was extended.
