Argentine Wines with DO Status: A Growing Market

Argentina is a leading producer of wine, and its wines with Designation of Origin (DO) status are a growing market. A new report by the Argentine Wine Institute (INV) found that Argentine wines with DO status are exported to over 100 countries, and they generate over $1 billion in export revenue.
The report found that Argentina has 17 wine regions with DO status, and that these regions produced over 1.5 billion liters of wine in 2022. The report also found that the most popular Argentine wine regions with DO status are Mendoza, Salta, and San Juan. The most popular grape varieties for Argentine wines with DO status are Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Torrontés.
The report concluded that Argentine wines with DO status are a valuable asset to the country's economy, and that they have the potential to grow even further in the future.
