From June 25 to July 2, 2024, the Young AIPPI Members Summit held its third edition, unveiling a fresh format that combined global and regional panels and sessions. The Satellite Session Americas, moderated and coordinated by Blanca Mejía, featured discussions on crucial topics. Blanca Mejía, partner at Bufete Mejía & Asociados, holds a Master's in Intellectual Property Law and serves as treasurer for the Central American and Caribbean group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
The Satellite Session Americas covered the benefits of the Andean Community in trademark registration and protection, explored ways to monetize AI innovations through intellectual property, and addressed technology’s role in safeguarding cultural elements.
