From March 11 to 12, Bolivia hosted the Second International Music Congress, which brought together performers and composers from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru in the Augusto Céspedes Auditorium, located in the city of Cochabamba.

The meeting, promoted by the Ministry of Cultures and Tourism, contributed to the strengthening of the profession across the region, as it was attended not only by performers and composers but also by teachers, students, exhibitors and technicians, among others professionals.

The congress was divided into five research areas: Pedagogy in music education; Musical, vocal and instrumental ensemble; Workshop of musical instruments; Musical computer science; and Vocal education.
