Bolivian airline joins foreign Country Brand
Amaszonas Uruguay, part of Bolivian airline company Amaszonas, signed on August 17 in Montevideo an agreement with the Uruguayan Ministry of Tourism and Uruguay XXI, an institute of promotion of investments and exports, for the use of the Country Brand "Uruguay Natural".

With the agreement, Amaszonas agrees to use the "Uruguay Natural" trademark in a "non-exclusive, non-transferable and free way" in promotional materials, and in its services and products. The General Manager of Amaszonas Uruguay, Carlos Pera, told EFE that the airline's adhesion to Uruguay's Country Brand is a "real pride”.

Created in 1998, Amaszonas is the first tourist airline in Bolivia operating regular flights and charter flights in jet airplanes. It has the widest coverage in flights within Bolivia and also offers abroad flights to Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Paraguay.
