The National Commission for Creative Economy and the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua inaugurated a National Innovation Center which will be available to young students and the population in general. The inauguration of this innovation center is part of an agreement signed between thew two entities and that will directly benefit 41,000 students of all undergraduate, graduate and program levels of the University of Nicaragua.
The center is designed to give innovators easy access to locally based, high quality technology information and related services. It will help build the technical skills of future creators and users of the intellectual property system through on-site training and distance learning courses, supported by the provision of information and training materials.
The new platform is another step Nicaragua has taken to broaden the innovation ecosphere, to inspire novel inventions, to accelerate growth, and to drive the country’s global competitive edge.
