CAF and Peru look to increase productivity through RDI

In order to increase the productivity of Peruvian companies and the competitiveness of the country, more than 50 representatives of 30 private leader organizations were trained to strengthen skills on innovation management processes. The activity was part of the I Innovation Week Latam Perú, which took place from May 22 to 26 in the city of Trujillo, and was promoted by the development bank of Latin America (CAF) within the framework of its Business Innovation Program.

Participants learned the four pillars of business innovation (strategy, cultural transformation, innovation processes and project portfolio management) applying the Innovation ScoreCard, a tool used by more than 180 Latin American companies to evaluate their level of innovation.

"We hope that this initiative generates in these organizations research, development and innovation capabilities that have a high replicability in other companies, generating a relevant impact on the country's competitiveness”, said Eleonora Silva Pardo, representative director of CAF in Peru.
