"We are honored to present this prestigious global chain in our country. Nicaragua has a rapidly growing middle class and a booming young population looking for fresh and high quality food", said Martín Rosales, president of Deli Pollo S.A., part of Deli Star S.A., the entity that manages Carl's Jr. brand in Nicaragua.
With over 3,000 restaurants in nearly 40 countries, Carl's Jr. will open a second restaurant in Nicaragua later this year, as part of its new global presence in markets like Australia, Japan and Chile.
"Growth in Latin America is a key strategic priority for our company. We have more than 300 restaurants in the region and development commitments to build about another 200 more", said Ron Coolbaugh, Vice President of International Franchise Operations at CKE Restaurants, owner of Carl's Jr.
