Celebrating 15 Years of IDEAS

In 2009, Maricruz Villanea and Ana Cristina Arroyave brought to life in Costa Rica a project that had been brewing in their minds for some time. IDEAS was born, a solution to the management of intellectual property portfolios through high quality and extensive knowledge of the different legislations of Central America and the Caribbean.

15 years later, Villanea and Arroyave celebrated an anniversary that marks a turning point for the firm, which has grown from two to 71 members and has a presence throughout the region. "In this life, you have to be grateful, and I want to be grateful to all the people who have contributed to the history of IDEAS," said Villanea.

The celebration took place during the ASIPI Seminar in Guatemala and was attended by guests from all over Latin America who have been part of and accompanied the growth of the Costa Rican firm.

With white and orange balloons, the colors of IDEAS, the night was marked by speeches, gifts, and the emotion of the IDEAS team, who remembered the firm's beginnings, made announcements of new expansions and additions, and valued that the project was made possible thanks to the strong friendship between Villanea and Arroyave.

Congratulations, words of admiration, and tokens of respect filled an anniversary that ended in style with music, dancing, and karaoke sessions.
