Certified priority documents are now digital
By Estudio Chaloupka

Resolution 2019-275 states that a trademark applicant claiming priority can have an electronic certified copy of their original application included in a secure digital library, offering a simple and secure digital alternative to filing paper copies of priority documents. The notification to the applicant will be also made electronically.
“This starting point is part of the digital extension of all procedures carried out by the INPI. We continue working towards an improvement in the attention of users of the IP system in a federal, agile and fast way”, the INPI stated.
