The procedure, one of the biggest ones of the year related to an Intellectual Property crime, was carried out in the city of Copiapo, northern Chile, when the Investigation Police registered a refrigerated truck suspected of illegally transporting tobacco as it had not presented the required documentation to the Chilean National Customs Service in the border with Argentina.
All the seized merchandise, set to be distributed in 250 thousand packs, was valued in approximately USD 1 million.
