CNR keeps position in delivery of official information
Between 2012 and 2016 the National Bureau of Registries (CNR, for its acronym in Spanish) received a total of 1,779 requests for information, an annual average of 445 data requirements.

According to Edgar Flamenco, information officer of the CNR, the delivery of the requirements is performed between four to five working days upon receiving the request, almost half the time stipulated by the Law on Access to Public Information, which is of 10 days. The number puts the institution among the best of El Salvador in delivery of official documentation.

For now on the commitment of the CNR is to improve protection of personal data and modernize its files so that people can have better access to them.
