The International Bar Association (IBA) Healthcare and Life Sciences Law Committee has produced a comparative legal guide covering the highly relevant topic of telemedicine across 54 countries. This guide is intended to offer practitioners and industry users easy access to the relevant applicable rules.
Each jurisdiction answers the most frequently raised questions in relation to telemedicine concerning regulation, data privacy, professional and product liability aspects, as well as recent developments and trends. Due to the rapid development and constant update of law and regulation in this field, each national report contains its date of conclusion for accuracy purposes.
BKM - BERKEMEYER prepared the Paraguayan chapter, with the joint participation of Partner Carla Sosa, and Associates Ignacio Serratti and Giulianno Buisines.
