Copyright guide for fashion industry

In order to expand fashion designers works and creations, the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) published in text and online the "Copyright guide for the fashion industry".
Through a didactic and easy way, the guide looks to promote IP knowledge among the fashion industry and general respect for the rights of fashion creators. Among other important contents, the guide reveals which rights are granted to fashion designers creators and the characteristics of such protection.
"Indecopi, once again, highlights the importance of original works around the national industry, thanks to the talent of designers and the efforts of their promoters, producing a positive impact on the country´s economic and cultural development", the Institute stated in a media release.
