Copyright guide for public entities

Copyright guide for public entities
In occasion of the Public Employee Day (May 29), the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) published the "Copyright guide for public entities", an educational document that promotes a culture of intellectual property respect and contains the scope of national and international legislation on the matter.

The guide is aimed for public institutions, producers of a wide variety of texts, presentations, journals, newsletters, photographs, audiovisual productions, software, illustrations, maps, sketches and musical works.

It explains the regulations on copyright and related rights, as public entities are holders of these rights and also responsible for being in compliance with the law in their every day duties.
