COVID-19 situation in Argentina

On June 29, 2020, Argentina’s Executive Power extended until July 17, 2020, the mandatory and preventive social isolation aimed at slowing the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.In accordance with the Government decision, the National Institute of Intellectual Property (INPI) issued Resolution 069/2020 extending the suspension of all legal terms in progress from June 29 until July 17, 2020. INPI has established a care customer service with minimum guards and a shift system. After obtaining an appointment via email, the user must respect the assigned shift schedule and comply with social distancing and sanitary regulations. The Office also has available all its electronic platforms for several processes.
The Argentine Supreme Court also decided on the extension of its extraordinary recess from June 29 until July 17, 2020.
Finally, by Decree 577/2020 it was ordered the extension of the suspension of all terms of administrative procedures.
