Covid-19 update in Argentina

On August 16, 2020, Argentina’s Executive Power extended until August 30, 2020, the mandatory and preventive social isolation aimed at slowing the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.In accordance with the Government decision, the National Institute of Intellectual Property (INPI) issued Resolution 116/2020 extending the suspension of all legal terms in progress from August 17, 2020, until August 30, 2020. INPI has established a care customer service with minimum guards and a shift system. After obtaining an appointment via email, the user must respect the assigned shift schedule and comply with social distancing and sanitary regulations. The Office also has available all its electronic platforms for several processes.
Finally, by Decree 678/2020, the suspension of all admnistrative terms was extended.
