哥斯达黎加寻求亚洲支持以加入CPTPP

日本与哥斯达黎加就《全面且进步的跨太平洋伙伴关系协定》（CPTPP）交换了意见，哥斯达黎加希望得到日本的合作，以实现早日加入CPTPP。哥斯达黎加将CPTPP视为全球贸易协定的“黄金标准”，其倡导更加开放、包容、进步、可持续和有弹性的贸易。
CPTPP是亚太地区11个国家之间的一项大型贸易协定，旨在通过减少关税和其他贸易壁垒来促进自由贸易，并为知识产权、投资、劳工标准等广泛的贸易相关问题建立规则，并且促进参与国的经济增长并创造就业机会。
参与CPTPP的国家有澳大利亚、文莱、加拿大、智利、日本、马来西亚、墨西哥、新西兰、秘鲁、新加坡和越南。
尽管哥斯达黎加表达了加入贸易协定的强烈兴趣并已采取措施，但尚未完成加入程序。成为 CPTPP 成员将使哥斯达黎加优先进入成员国市场，有可能促进出口并吸引更多外国投资。
