Dannemann Siemsen's second ESG Report
By Dannemann Siemsen
In this report, we describe the firm's main actions and achievements in the environmental, social and corporate governance contexts over the course of 2023.
With regard to the environment, we would like to highlight the fact that we overcame the challenges arising from ISO 14001 recertification and improved our overall performance indexes in 2022, the year in which we obtained this important Environmental Management Certification for the first time. It demonstrates the attention we pay to the most important environmental issues in our day-to-day business.
Last year we were also crowned with actions that brought significant advances in the social dimension and in Dannemann Siemsen’s governance.
We are presenting the 2023 ESG Report to all our stakeholders, starting with our employees. Repeating the Good performance achieved in 2022, they were engaged and committed partners in achieving the best results in the environmental, social and governance areas. This document deepens the quality of the information made available to our stakeholders, partners, employees, clients and society in general.
Through this report, Dannemann Siemsen sets out its ESG practices in a clear and transparent way, showing actions that generate value for people in our internal environment or in our firm’s interactions and interfaces with the external environment. Its content has been validated by the Executive Board and approved by the Board of Directors.
It is very important for us to share this material. It reinforces Dannemann Siemsen's purpose since it was founded more than 120 years ago. We will continue to work committed to responsible environmental practices, adopting transparent and honest governance mechanisms, and engaged with social issues.
"In 2024, we will be focused on understanding, developing and adopting the new technologies on the market that have an impact on our business, especially artificial intelligence. We want AI to be applied and developed while always considering the diversity and education of individuals, so that they maintain their value in the labour market. In addition, we work to ensure that this tool generates knowledge and brings additional benefits to the environment and society as a whole, making an outstanding contribution to our ongoing evolution in the environmental, social and corporate governance dimensions", stated Peter Eduardo Siemsen, ESG Lead Partner.
