Economic Prospects from the World Bank

The World Bank forecasts that the Uruguayan economy will have a final grow of 2.5 percent in 2017 -the official figure will be known in March-, of 2.8 percent in the current year and of 3.2 percent the following two years.

In its Global Economic Prospects report, published in January 2018, the World Bank expects global economic growth to edge up to 3.1 percent in 2018 after a much stronger-than-expected 2017, as the recovery in investment, manufacturing, and trade continues.
