美国农业部贸易代表团将扩大对危地马拉的出口

美国农业部最终确定了一个贸易代表团，于2025年3月3日至7日前往危地马拉的危地马拉城，以加强贸易联系并扩大美国农产品在中美洲的出口。代表团成员包括二十多家农业企业、贸易组织以及来自两个州农业部的代表。
危地马拉是中美洲最大的经济体和人口最多的国家，预计经济将持续增长。2024年，危地马拉成为美国农产品在中美洲最大的市场，也是在全球的第16大市场，出口总额达19亿美元。同年，美国对洪都拉斯和萨尔瓦多的农产品出口额分别达到14亿美元和8.32亿美元。美国对危地马拉的农产品出口额较2023年大幅增长了15%，而对洪都拉斯和萨尔瓦多的出口额分别增长了4%和5%。
危地马拉及其中美洲邻国均受《中美洲-多米尼加共和国自由贸易协定》（CAFTA-DR）的覆盖。根据CAFTA-DR，几乎所有关税均已逐步取消，该协定进一步巩固了美国产品在该地区的地位。
