El Salvador reiterates its commitment to regional integration
The commitment to regional development and well-being is a priority for El Salvador, a topic that was highlighted in Panama during the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Central American Integration System (SICA) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).During the meeting, Salvadoran authorities referred to the identification of development opportunities and innovative mechanisms to generate more employment and boost the economy in Central America.
El Salvador aims at joint and consensual actions between both regions (SICA and CARICOM) to stimulate dialogue and strengthen cooperation in multilateral spaces. Specifically highlighted were the solid links with the European Union that have allowed to training for students, researchers and professionals in health, technology and intellectual property matters.
