El Salvador strengthens investment opportunities with Qatar

During his visit Bukele announced possible agreements with Qatar in various sectors, especially oil and gas, pointing out that El Salvador has “energy wealth” and needs Qatari companies to cooperate in benefiting from it.
Aside from oil and gas investment opportunities, Bukele also mentioned cooperations in the agricultural field and infrastructure investments such as the construction of a new international airport with support from Qatar Airways, the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar.
