El Salvadoran chocolate highlighted internationally

The cooperative, created in 2013, plants new cocoa variations with farmers from different municipalities who joined forces to become a benchmark in the country's cocoa industry. During the international fair, the cooperative’s Noya chocolate was highlighted by juries and assistants.Through international help, local Salvadoran producers have been trained and supported in new techniques, building capacities in the cocoa value chain to better positioned farmers to compete in the international market.
Organized from July 14 to 17 at the Lima Convention Center, the Cocoa and Chocolate Show had the presence of international pavilions from the most representative cocoa-producing countries in Latin America, as well as the participation of exhibitors, visitors, technology providers, buyers and delegations and the most representative entities of the sector.
The hall seeks to integrate the different national and international economic agents of the cocoa production chain, to manage knowledge, exchange information, establish contact networks and promote the commercial activity of cocoa and derivatives in the national and international market.
