Enrique Cheang Highlights the Role of IP in Music During Caracas Bar Association Event

As part of the global celebration of World Intellectual Property Day, the Caracas Bar Association hosted the academic event “Intellectual Property and Music” on April 30, 2025. Held in collaboration with the Venezuelan University Network for Intellectual Property, the event brought together over 100 participants both in person and online.

Among the featured speakers was Enrique Cheang, founding partner of E.C.V. Asociados, whose presentation stood out for its depth and clarity. Cheang’s insights helped underscore the importance of protecting creativity in the music industry and sparked meaningful reflection on the role of intellectual property in fostering artistic innovation. The event formed part of a broader initiative by the Caracas Bar Association to promote awareness and education in the field of intellectual property.
