First Global Auction of Specialty Coffee

On August 12, 2020, Café Marcala will host its first global virtual coffee auction, called Do Marcala Specialty Coffee Auction, highlighting 36 of Honduras’ finest nano and micro lots.The Denomination of Origin Café Marcala has served to promote the coffee that is part of the heritage of the region, since it includes in protection the place of production, the techniques developed by the producers over time, the prestige that may have gained in the market and the price that is recognizes you as a result of your quality. This benefits all producers who are affiliated as users of the Denomination of Origin, contributing to an improvement in their economic income.
