Germany deepens its relation with Nicaragua
According to the 2016 Investor Guide, the investments of German capital in Nicaragua have increased up to US 47 million in the last four years.

Orlando Solórzano, Nicaraguan minister of Development, Industry and Commerce, stated to El Nuevo Diario that most of the investments are located in the industrial sector, mainly in the in the manufacture of auto parts, agribusiness and finance.

Solorzano said his country exports many primary and high quality in the world genres, as produces excellent cocoa, sugar and milk, may well prosecute the best chocolates in the world.

Germany´s ambassador at Managua, Ute König, underlined that the European nation will continue to strengthen its relation with Nicaragua, as the Central American country offers several attributes for investment, specially the protection and recognition of trademarks and patents rights, customs regulations and safety and labor costs.

Among other factors for the attractiveness of German investment into Nicaragua are the period of 10 years without paying taxes, freedom to repatriate profits generated in the country, its privileged geographical position and its solid trade relationships with the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA), and other Central America and Latin American nations.
