Government stresses public-private coordination for IP development
The deputy minister of Economy of El Salvador, Luz Estrella Rodríguez, stressed the importance of joint cooperations in an event framed during the World Intellectual Property Day. "Any strategy for developing the intellectual property rests on the basis of an adequate coordination between public and private entities", said Rodríguez.

The deputy minister also highlighted the progresses made through the Intellectual Property National Policy (recently launched by El Salvador government), explaining that the Ministry is working to position it as one of the central focuses between all public policies.

El Salvador celebrated the World Intellectual Property Day under the slogan established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), "Digital Creativity: Culture Reimagined", raising awareness of how patents, copyright, trademarks and designs impact the culture on the digital age.
