This was a practical workshop that included the participation of brand representatives, who illustrated the participants on the different technological means on their products that aid on the detection of infringement. Additionally, the content covered various relevant aspects regarding the protection of trademarks, in particular, in relation to their enforcement in Customs.
The event was organized by REACT, a not-for-profit organization with over 30 years of experience on brand protection and trademark enforcement, and the Mejia Initiative for the promotion and protection of Intellectual Property. AIPPI’s Central American and Caribbean Group was represented through its Board Member Blanca Mejia.
