Honduras Digital Challenge 2021 underway

In its V edition, Honduras Digital Challenge seeks to support technology-based ventures, whose products and services may have a Central American or Latin American scope with the potential to generate a positive impact on MSMEs, in order to facilitate the economic recovery of Honduras due to the effects of Covid-19 and by the natural disasters caused by hurricanes ETA and IOTA, providing support to early stage ventures that use new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Blockchain, 3D Printing, among others. 

It has 5 main categories: 1) Business Software, 2) Medical Technology, 3) Agrotechnology, 4) Electronic Commerce & Fintech, 5) Education.

The 25 classified teams have already had access to a series of webinars and keynote talks given by mentors and speakers from the network of international allies, including accelerators and advisors such as: Parallel 18, Mass Challenge, Hackers & Founders, Techstars, Legal Mind, Lexgo, among many more.

Honduras Digital Challenge is an initiative by private companies and international institutions that brings together entrepreneur communities at the local and regional level to participate in the creation of new products / services based on the use of technology, and to generate new companies that market these products / services to end users. Likewise, the event will seek to support these new ventures by registering them in a program that ensures the continuity of the company through an incubation process, until said venture is established as a new company in the country.
