Honduras shined at the world's largest food festival

The Taste of the World Festival, held in Nationals Park, Washington, DC, had the outstanding presence of the Honduran Ambassador to the United States, Marlon Tabora. On July 8 Tabora, representing the Embassy of Honduras, threw out the first pitch during the baseball game between the Washington Nationals and the Atlanta Braves at Nationals Park.

It was the highlight of a successful weekend for the delegation of Honduras, who had a prominent participation during the event, presenting to hundreds of assistants from different nationalities a long variety of well-known Honduran foods and drinks, as well as some of its most famous cultural disciplines and arts.
