Importers, new licensees of the Argentina Country Brand

In order to standardize and regulate the Argentina Country Brand worldwide, the Presidency of the Nation issued resolution 55/2025, which establishes new uses for the Country Brand and updates its usage manual.
"As an interdisciplinary and multisectoral state policy, the Argentina Country Brand serves as a promotional tool aimed at strengthening the country's image both nationally and internationally, by promoting exports, national talent, tourism, attracting investments, and spreading our culture," the resolution states.
Since its creation, the licenses for the use of the Country Brand have been granted to representatives, companies, events, and entities, with the goal of enhancing the country's positioning. The resolution expands its use to cooperatives, ambassadors, promoters, friends, and icons. It also adds importers of Argentine products abroad as new licensees.
"To align the granting of the use of the Country Brand with government policies, it is necessary to update the unified regulatory framework that governs the rights and obligations of the licensees, as well as the supervision of its use, renewal, and revocation," the resolution adds.
Part of the update establishes guidelines for licensees on how to apply the logo, the color backgrounds to be used, coexistence with third-party communications, and use on social media and commercial promotions.
