Indecopi fosters respect of visual artists IP
The National Institute for Defence of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) of Peru made available the Copyright Guide for Visual Artists in order to promote awareness and encourage respect for the rights of photographers, painters, sculptors, illustrators, cartoonists, and authors of prints and drawings.

Through this didactic and simple document, Indecopi joined the II International Festival of Trujillo, hold from May 30 to June 5 in that coastal Peruvian city. During the event, different exhibitions and workshops were leaded by acclaimed photographers from Peru, Argentina, Mexico and Spain.

Indecopi highlighted on the festival that the time has come to highlight the importance of artistic creations, which make a positive impact on the economic and cultural development of Peru.
