Indecopi presents the first book of recipes of Peruvian products with PDO
In occasion of the World Intellectual Property Day, the National Institute for Defence of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) of Peru presented the first book of recipes of Peruvian products that have been granted protected designation of origin (PDO).

"Recipes Origin" includes delicious dishes that have been created by Peruvian chef Flavio Solorzano Alvarez, all of them made with local products with PDO: Maíz Blanco Gigante de Cusco (Giant White Corn from Cusco); Pallar de Ica (Lima Bean from Ica), Café de Villa Rica (Coffee from Villa Rica), Café de Machu Picchu-Huadquiña (Coffee from Machu Pichu-Huadquiña), Loche de Lambayeque (Pumpkin from Lambayeque), Maca de Junín-Pasco (Maca from Junín-Pasco) and Aceituna de Tacna (Olive from Tacna). Obviously, world-known Pisco is also a star on the book.

During the launching, Indecopi, along with the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Americana), also presented the 2016 edition of the National Journalism Competition on Intellectual Property, whose grand prize is an internship in Europe for the winners of each of the three categories.
