"Bolivia is one of the most important markets in South America because of its strong gastronomic potential and its steady economic growth in recent years", said Ximena Ibañez, legal representative of the Café Martínez franchise for Bolivia.
Created in 1933 in Argentina, Café Martínez main business is the production and distribution of coffee. Currently the company has more than 160 stores worldwide (from Spain to Uruguay to Dubai and the United States) and 2,000 employees, selling 40,000 cups of coffee daily.
Its Bolivian franchise initial business plan is of three stores, after which an expansion through sub-franchises is expected to reach a potential of twelve stores nationwide. "The Bolivian market was always within the expansion goals of the company and by the end of 2016 it finally took place", added Ibañez.
