International fashion brands strengthen their presence in the Bolivian market
Bolivia Moda (BOMO), the most important fashion week in Bolivia, successfully culminated its fifteenth edition by presenting the spring summer 2018 collections of the most outstanding local designers.

The event took place from December 7 to 9 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra with more than 42 fashion shows, 60 models on stage and exhibitors and attendees from Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru, besides the local talent. Some of the most renowned international brands present were Colombian Totto, Italian Diesel, Spaniards Cortefiel and Springfield, and French Lacoste, who showed their most recent collections, strengthening their presence in the Bolivian market.

According to FashionNetwork.com, although the Bolivian textile industry closed 2017 with decreases both in production and exports, national retail had an increase of between 6% and 8%. Also, the rise of commercial shopping centers in the country and the new landings of international brands have reactivated the domestic consumption whose demand is on the rise.
